Your Gateway to a Great Landscape
Working with you to adjust existing living landscapes to better fit your needs.
Stop and Smell the Roses
Softscapes are built by selecting plants that complement the hardscape installations and structures surrounding them. Creating the perfect softscape could also include building berms or even leveling large areas.
Selecting Plants for Your Softscape
When our landscaping team selects plants for your Big Sky property, we'll consider color, size, season, symmetry, and dimensions to help your landscape look amazing right after planting and years down the road. Ideally, we try to install native softscapes.
Softscape installations commonly include:
Natural Factors We Consider
Landscapes are not built with stone alone. We consider color, size, season, symmetry, native reclamation and restoration when planting your landscape. The use of native trees, shrubs, groundcover, and grasses, which have adapted to local conditions (including climate, geography, hydrology, soil, and other native plants and animals) not only adds rustic beauty to your softscape but also allows for the use of fewer pesticides and fertilizers and less watering to maintain. Many of the species we use are vigorous and hardy, able to survive winter cold and summer heat.
Book a New Installation
We often book new installations a year or more in advance. If you would like a space on our waiting list, please reach out! We’re excited to create a beautiful outdoor space for your new construction.
